Rotary Club of Kent-Sunrise honors Meeker leaders, students

The Rotary Club of Kent-Sunrise recently honored its January Middle School of the Month.

The club sets a monthly meeting during the school year to recognize a Kent middle school. Meeker Middle School was honored Tuesday. Those honored, with Principal Shannon Nash, included teacher Molly Galassi and students Aryanna Wong, Ivan Woo, Jack Hueso, Erlyn Vi and Camile Gray.

The six honorees represent two for academic achievement, two for citizenship recognition along with an outstanding teacher and a supportive staff member. The awardees, along with their parents, are invited to breakfast for the special early morning presentation.
