T-Birds announce 2012-2013 pre-season schedule

The Thunderbirds will have a six-game exhibition schedule prior to the start of the 2012-13 season.

The Thunderbirds will have a six-game exhibition schedule prior to the start of the 2012-13 season.

They will play two games at the Everett Silvertips preseason tournament at Comcast Arena. The T-Birds play the Portland Winterhawks on Friday, August 31, at 3 p.m. and the Spokane Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m.

The T-Birds will then travel to Kennewick for two games at the Red Lion Hotels’ Preseason Tournament at the Toyota Center. On Friday, September 7, the T-Birds will face the Tri-City Americans at 7 p.m. Seattle will take on the Winterhawks on Saturday, September 8, at 3 p.m.

The T-Birds will host the Silvertips at ShoWare Center on Friday, September 14, at 7:35pm. Single game tickets for the home preseason game will go on sale in August.

The preseason schedule ends on Saturday, September 15, when the T-Birds travel to Everett to face the Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. at Comcast Arena. The T-Birds full 2012-13 regular season schedule will be released on Wednesday, June 27.

Sunday, September 2 vs. Spokane, 3 p.m. at Everett Tournament

Friday, September 7 @ Tri-City, 7 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Saturday, September 8 @ Portland, 3 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Friday, September 14 vs. Everett, 7:35 p.m. at ShoWare Center

Saturday, September 15 @ Everett, 7:05 p.m. at Comcast Arena

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2012-13 regular season will go on sale on in late August online on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office.

T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
