Preview the flight on the Liberty Belle B-17.
Take a flight on a World War II B-17 bomber or a Curtiss P-40E fighter on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, at the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field in Tukwila.
Rides on both planes will be available hourly from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, followed by ground tours of the planes from 4:30-6 p.m. Flight experiences in the bomber last about 45 minutes, with 30 minutes in the air; P-40 flights are about 20 minutes in the air.
