Be ready for heavy traffic impacts from 7 a.m. June 5 through 5 p.m. June 8 in Kent when Union Pacific Railroad closes Willis Street between Fourth Avenue South and 74th Avenue South, just east of Highway 167.
UP officials will close the street in order to repair railroad crossing pads. The project will take four full days and nights.
Crews will set up traffic control message boards and barricades to help detour drivers to alternate routes.
