Make a difference in your Kent neighborhood, join family and friends to pick up litter.
A volunteer effort is being organized for the Kent Litter Free Event set for 9 a.m. to noon June 8.
Volunteers can pick up bags by City Hall at 9 a.m. on that Saturday. Return them filled with litter by noon and get a ticket for a discount on lunch offered by Cal’s at Kent Station, Naked Pizza, Dilettante, Reds Wine Bar and others.
