Auburn Police respond to shooting at Lowe’s parking lot on A Street

One person suffered a gunshot wound to the head and is reportedly in critical condition.

On Nov. 1, Auburn Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the parking lot of the Lowe’s home improvement store near 1232 A Street NE.

While responding to the call around 2:24 a.m., police received another call that one of the vehicles expected to be involved was abandoned on 15th Street NW. Soon after that, another update came in about a shooting victim in the 5600 block of South 318th Court.

Investigators suspected that all of these calls were connected.

The male victim found near the 5600 block of South 318th Court suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the home improvement store’s parking lot and is reportedly in critical condition. Police say he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

There are no suspects at this time and the scene is under investigation. Anyone with information may contact the Auburn PD tipline at 253-288-7403.
