Selma Louise Crown
Selma Louise Crown was born on December 9, 1930 in Athol, Kansas, to parents John and Sophia Tuxhorn. She passed away peacefully at her home in Kent, Washington, at age 79, on Saturday, August 14, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, who passed away in 1998 after 52 years of marriage; two brothers, Albert and Edward and two sisters, Velma and Alma. She is survived by four children, Joe and Valerie Crown of Kent, WA; Linda and David Tyler of Tulsa, OK; Pat and Tom Breninger of Edmond, OK; and Dave and Pam Crown of Renton, WA; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers Johnnie and Naomi Tuxhorn of Phillipsburg, KS; Ivan and Jeanette Tuxhorn of Loveland, CO; and sister-in-law, Doris Tuxhorn of Smith Center, KS. Selma loved reading, needlepoint, sewing, baking and decorating. But her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
