Gordon (Mike) Nelson
Gordon (Mike) Nelson of Orting, WA died August 24, 2010, he was 92 years old. Mike was born May 11, 1918, in Kensal N.D., son of Albert & Anna Nelson. He married Eleanor Johnson Lindstrom, December 1, 1954. He moved to Kent Washington in 1969 and worked at the Seattle Auction until retiring. Mike enjoyed playing the accordion. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor, daughter Tamara, great-granddaughter, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by five sons; three daughters; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at the WA. Soldier Home, September 4, at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
