Lillie L. Sackett

Lillie L. Sackett passed away August 28, 2010 at Mt. Si Transitional Health Center in North Bend, WA where she was surrounded by loving family members. She was born on Sept. 29, 1923 in Osakis, MN, the last of 11 children born to Henry and Jane Rosenbauer. She married Warren Sackett on October 31, 1942 and they were soul mates and life mates for nearly 67 years, until he passed away in March of 2009. Lill attended grade schools in MN and graduated with honors from Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN in 1942. She immediately went to work at The First National Bank in Coleraine, followed by employment at The Cleveland-Cliffs Iron Co. in Coleraine. Lill received commendations for her reliability, ambition, and overall excellent work ethic from both companies. Having no children of their own, Lill and Warren moved to the Seattle area in 1950 to be closer to her sister Jennie Mae Baker and her family. Lill went to work for the Boeing Co. and held various executive secretarial positions until working as Administrative Asst. to E. H. Boullioun, President of Boeing Commercial Airplane Co. for several years until she retired in 1984. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Skyway and a long time member of Holy Spirit Church in Kent, WA. She is survived by her sister, Jennie Mae Baker of North Bend along with many loving nieces and nephews across the US.

A memorial service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 15 at 2:15 pm where Lill will join Warren in their final resting place as they resume their life together in heaven. They will be remembered as two of the most generous and loving people anyone has ever known.
