Luella M. Wales, 87 years old, passed away November 1, 2017, at her home in Gig Harbor, WA. Luella was born March 24, 1930 on Vashon to Alfred and Engvarda (Lokke) Ellingsen.
She grew up on Vashon and graduated from Vashon High School in 1948. Luella was a Tacoma General Hospital Nursing School graduate (1945) and later worked at Auburn Hospital until her retirement in 1990. She and her husband Raymond raised their family in Kent, WA. Raymond and Luella moved to the Gig Harbor area in 1990.
Luella is survived by her son James Wales and daughters Joan Lightle and Kathy Wales.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017, 1:00p.m. at Harbor Place at Cottesmore in Gig Harbor, WA.
