Melinda Lee Schmitt, 51, passed away January 14, 2018 after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side.
Melinda was born November 27, 1966, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Adolph “Duff” and Dian (Breshear) Schmitt. She lived her life in Alaska and Washington and was employed by Scholastic Book Fairs for 17 years.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Jim Schmitt. She is survived by her children, Joshua Schmitt and Amanda Perry; sisters, Monica Schmitt, Reean (Dan) Pitts, Kimberli Schmitt and brother, Shawn Schmitt, and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held @ 4:00pm on August 11th at Morrill Meadows Park in Kent.
