Opal Marie Herscher

Opal passed away peacefully in her home in Auburn, WA on July 14, 2009. She was born on February 28, 1924 in Sayer, Oklahoma. She was married to Fred L. Herscher Sr for 63 years until his death in 2007. Together they raised five children.Opal was a devoted wife and mother and will be remembered most for her devotion to her family. She is survived by three of her children, ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a third on the way.A memorial service for close friends and family will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2pm at the Golden Steer Restaurant in Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice or SKCAC Industries.
