Robert “Bob” See

Robert See was born July 12, 1935 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 7, 2010 at the Regency Rehabilitation Center of Puyallup, he was 74. Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years, Clarice (Olson) See, his daughters, Terri Unser of Covington, WA, Stephanie McGibbon (Alan) of Jeffersonville, IN, a niece Samantha Matz of Tacoma, WA, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Carrol Vivian “Vet” See and brothers John “Jack” See and Richard “Dick” See. Bob graduated from Renton High School in 1952. He then joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. Once out of the Army he became a volunteer firefighter for the cities of Maple Valley and Kent. On August 2, 1965, he was the 8th man hired to be a “paid” firefighter for the city of Kent where he worked for 25 years. Once retired from the city of Kent, Bob became a school bus driver for the Bethel School District for 15 years. In his leisure time Bob enjoyed fishing at Westport, golf and going to the casinos. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Regency Rehabilitation Center of Puyallup, Dr’s AlShallah and Savoldi as well as the Kent Fire and Police De-partments for all of your support. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northwest Burn Center, 1515 NW 52nd St., Suite A, Seattle, WA 98107. Burial will be on Wed., May 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at Kent Fire Station #78.
