THOMAS PARKER RYAN

THOMAS PARKER RYAN

Thomas Parker Ryan passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 59. He was born in Renton, Washington on January 4, 1959.

Thomas was a man with many loves. Walking his neighborhood and on beaches was always a must along with the joy of watching planes, trains, and traveling in cars. He collected clocks and was a huge fan of Star Wars, wrestling, Judge Judy and bowling. He loved going to aquariums, zoos and adopted several wolves at Wolf Haven. And he loved to dance.

As a youngster he attended Gran View School. He participated in Special Olympics at Joint Base Fort Lewis. As he aged, bowling became a favorite sport. He bowled on leagues, and with family and visited various bowling alleys from Snoqualmie to Ocean Shores.

Thomas lived a happy and independent life with the support of his caregivers from TLC (Total Living Concept). They became friends and companions to Thomas. The family is eternally grateful for their love and support of Thomas and their friendship.

Thomas worked at SKCAC Industries located in the Kent Valley for over 30 years. He enjoyed going to work every day.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Barbara Ryan. Thomas is survived by his brother Tim Ryan, wife JoDeanne Ryan, his sister Sheri Scalzo, her husband Gerry Scalzo and their daughters Jessica Scalzo, her partner Dan Roach, Vanessa Turcotte and her husband Cody.

Thomas’ huge smile and greeting of “Hi ole lady” or “Hi ole man” will be sorely missed by all. Every time we see a deer, bear, cow or porta potty, we will remember our Thomas, not Tom but Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 27th at 11:00 am, at Emeralds Downs in Auburn.
