Kent Little League opens new season with a festival

A spring tradition, Kent Little League officially threw out the first pitch to the baseball season on Saturday, April 27 at Ryan Brunner Park.

Above, Owen Irey of the Double-A Division Athletics unleashes a pitch. Below, Mariner Daylen Horne tries to connect with the ball in Single-A play.

The opening-day festival had face painting, a bouncy house, team photos and booths. Games were played throughout the day.
