Kent Reporter’s Player of the week is Seattle Thunderbird Connor Honey. He started the season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. He had appeared in 17 games for the Gamblers this season and had seven points on one goal and six assists. Honey came to the Thunderbirds December 8, and has played in 10 games and currently has 2 assist.
Last year Honey played for the Edmonton South Side Athletic team in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. He led the league in scoring with 56 points on 24 goals and 32 assists in 34 games. The South Side Athletic team won the prestigious Mac’s Midget Tournament last year.
