The Kent Reporter’s female athlete of the week for Oct. 27 is senior Rachel Senger of Kentlake High School, volleyball.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite subject in school is health and anatomy.

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Divergent”, “Hunger Games”, “Cars”, “Tangled”

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: I would say my dad, he has always been there for me and constantly shows me love and support through anything I put my mind towards! He’s always had my back .

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Peach Celcius and white cheddar cheez-itz

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual

A:I dont have one so much. However, I make sure there aren’t braids in my hair, lol. I feel like they make me have a bad game.  

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: Let Me Love You by Mario

From the sidelines: Rachel combined for 42 assists, 12 aces and 9 digs against Kentlake’s wins vs. Thomas Jefferson and Auburn Mountainview leading the team to 9-1 in conference.
