Kent Reporter Male Athlete of the Week: Angad Bains

In the first ever All-city match, Angad was a medalist for the Chargers.

The Kent Reporter’s male athlete of the week for Oct. 6 is senior Angad Bains of Kentridge High School, Golf.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Health with Mr. Mitchell.

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Thor: Ragnarök”, “Happy Gilmore”, “White Chicks”, “Mean Girls”

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mi Madre.

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Slurpee and Sour Patch Kids.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual

A: Listening to music or talking to friends

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: Every Chance I get by DJ Khalid (feat. Lil Baby, Lil Durk)

From the sidelines: Angad was the medalist at the first ever Kent All-City golf tournament. His low round helped the Chargers top all the other Kent schools. He is a senior who qualified for the state championship and continues to perform well on the course.
