Gullard has shown tremendous leadership through the first week of the season.

The Kent Reporter’s male athlete of the week for the week of Mar. 8 is Kentridge High School senior Rylan Gullard, baseball.

What is your favorite subject/class in school?

My favorite class in Kentridge right now is ceramics.

Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

My Mom and dad have helped me the most in life because they have always been there for me no matter what I needed.

You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

I’m choosing peach rings and Sprite.

Describe your pre-game ritual:

I get to the field early and listen to music in my car.

Carnival by Kanye West
