Snyder’s swim expirence helps bolster the team’s depth.

Kent Reporter’s female athlete of the week of Oct. 20 is Kentwood High School freshman Abbie Snyder, swim.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: My favorite subject is math.

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Aladdin,” “Tangled,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Cinderella.”

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: The person who has helped me the most is my mom.

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Sprite and any type of chips.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual

A: Getting motivated and warming up.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Drew a Picasso” by Drake

From the sidelines: Abbie is a great addition to our team this year. She brings an extensive swimming background that has bolstered our teams’ depth and provided exiting races. Abbie has a great work ethic and brings a spark of fun to our team energy.

Kentridge girls soccer advances to the state playoffs for the first time since 2018 in a huge 6-0 win over Rogers. Decatur football’s historic season comes to a close in a 13-6 loss to Woodinville at home. Auburn falls to Lincoln at the Lincoln Bowl, ending the Trojans’ 2023 campaign. Auburn Riverside football wins against Juanita 28-9 and is going to state for the first time in school history.
