Kentridge girls’ soccer players named to all-state teams

Four Kentridge High School girls soccer players were named to the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association Fall 2015 Class 4A All-State Soccer Teams.

Four Kentridge High School girls soccer players were named to the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association Fall 2015 Class 4A All-State Soccer Teams.

Junior Oliva Van der Jagt was named to the first team as a forward. Senior Peyton Chick, also a forward, made the second team, along with juniors, Sophia Chilczuk, a midfielder, and Grace Klinkenberg, a defender.

Kentridge was knocked out of the first round of the state playoffs with a loss to Curtis High School in November.

The Chargers finished the regular season with a 12-1 conference record, securing the South Puget Sound League North 4A title for a third consecutive year.

The all-state teams were voted on by members of the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association.
