The 2010 Subway Super Series will take place Nov. 8-18 and marks the eighth straight year that teams of CHL All-Stars have competed against Team Russia in preparation for the World Junior Hockey Championships.

Pickard will be one of two goalies on Team WHL as they face Team Russia in Games 5 and 6 of the series. Game 5 is Wednesday, November 17, in Kamloops, British Columbia. Game 6 is Thursday, November 18, in Prince George, British Columbia. The first two games of the series are hosted by the QMJHL with the OHL hosting Games 3 and 4.

Top NHL prospects for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Red Deer) and Ty Rattie (Portland) will compete in the series along with 2012 NHL Draft top prospect Ryan Murray (Everett). Team WHL also features four first round draft picks from the 2010 NHL Draft, Ryan Johansen (Portland), Brett Connolly (Prince George), Mark Pysyk (Edmonton) and Quinton Howden (Moose Jaw).
