This league is for players age 18 and older. It is six-a-side, pass-only on a modified field with an intermediate-size football. Teams play an eight-game schedule against teams from Auburn and Kent. RIVERBEND SUMMER JUNIOR GOLF CAMP

This camp for boys and girls ages 11-15 is scheduled for July 13-16 at Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent. Players ages 6-10 will meet from 9 a.m.-noon each day, and players ages 11-15 will meet from 1-4 p.m. each day. The cost is $125, and the registration deadline is July 10. Camp topics will include grip, swing, alignment, iron and wood play, course safety, putting, etiquette and rules. HART’S GYMNASTICS CAMPS

These one-week camps for those ages 6-12 are scheduled for July 20-24 and Aug. 10-14 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily at Hart’s Gymnastics Center, 4520 B St. NW in Auburn. The camp will include rotations on all four events, organized gymnastics games and a visit from Seaweed the Inflatable Dragon. The cost is $150 for Auburn residents and $188 for non-residents. BEGINNERS PROGRAM

The Sno-King Junior Thunderbirds will offer a year-round, beginners-level program for boys and girls ages 5-10. No skating experience is necessary. LEARN TO SKATE CLASSES

An eight-week series with group and private lessons for boys, girls and adults is being offered at KENT VALLEY ICE CENTRE. Instruction is based on criteria set forth by the Ice Skating Institute. These camps are open to boys and girls ages 6-12. A BASIC CAMP for ages 6-9 is scheduled for Monday through Friday, July 13-17, at Auburn’s Sunset Park, 1306 69th St. S.E., with one session from 9-10:30 a.m., and one from 12:30-2 p.m. A CONTINUING CAMP for ages 6-9 is scheduled for Monday through Friday, July 20-24 at Auburn’s Brannan Park, 611 28th St. N.E., with one session from 9-10:30 a.m. and one from 12:30-2 p.m. A BASIC CAMP for ages 10-12 is July 13-17 at Sunset Park from 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., and a CONTINUING CAMP for ages 10-12 is July 20-24 at Brannan Park from 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The cost for any camp session is $40 for Auburn residents and $50 for non-residents. KENT PARKS YOUTH PROGRAMS

Programs for boys and girls are offered for Pre-K, K-1, and Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Teams are coed for Pre-K and K-1, with separate boys and girls teams for Grades 2-6. The cost is $40 if registered by Aug. 3, and $45 on a space-available basis after Aug. 3. Leagues are open to boys and girls in the city of Kent, or who are Kent School District students living in unincorporated King County. Players will be placed on teams in their school area. Players in Pre-K must be 3 years old by Aug. 31, 2009. Pre-K games are 5-v-5; K-1 are 8-v-8, and all other are 11-v-11. Games for all levels will be scheduled for Wilson Playfields on Kent’s East Hill on Saturdays beginning at 9 a.m. Weeknight games, if needed, will be at 6 p.m. for Grades 2 and 3, and at 6 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. for Grades 4, 5 and 6. A jamboree for Grades 2 and 3, and for Grades 4, 5 and 6 will be on Sept. 12. A jamboree for Pre-K and K-1 will be on Sept. 19. KENT PARKS ADULT FALL SLOWPITCH SEASON

Registration is open for men’s and coed teams. The team entry fee is $600, which includes a 10-game schedule, umpires, game balls, and a single-elimination tournament for all teams. The registration deadline is July 10. Games will be scheduled for Monday through Thursday nights at Russell Road Park and/or Service Club Ballfields, beginning the week of July 27 and finishing by or before Sept. 18. One program will be available for girls entering grades 7-8 and one for girls entering grades 9-12. The cost is $45 if registered by Sept. 1, and $50 on a space-available basis after Sept. 1. Turnouts begin in early October, and league matches will take place on weekday evenings beginning the week of Oct. 5, with a jamboree for both programs on Oct 2.
