Kentwood High School’s Carson Stewart, tennis, was selected as the Covington Maple Valley Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 14.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Dirt bike riding, fishing, Kent swim and tennis club lifeguard

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Ingrid Bakke

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Eating Pringles

“Carson has shown excellent leadership qualities as captain helping the team get off to a 2-0 start. Carson has played doubles in both matches with different partners making him an invaluable team player and leader.”
