Seattle Mist set women’s football tryouts for Jan. 7 in Kent

The Seattle Mist women’s football team will have an open tryout for players at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Seattle is part of the Legends Football League, formerly known as the Lingerie Football League. The games feature seven-on-seven playing tackle football.

The league begins play in April and will release its 2017 schedule in mid-January. The Mist are one of the original teams of the LFL. Seattle typically plays two home games at the ShoWare Center and two games on the road.
