Seattle Thunderbirds games to be broadcast on 710 ESPN, KPTK 1090 radio | Western Hockey League

Twenty Seattle Thunderbirds hockey games during the 2011-12 regular season will be broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle. All of the 710 ESPN games are on Friday nights.

Twenty Seattle Thunderbirds hockey games during the 2011-12 regular season will be broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle. All of the 710 ESPN games are on Friday nights.

The remaining 52 regular season games will be broadcast on KPTK 1090 AM. The Kent-based T-Birds have signed a three-year broadcast agreement with KPTK.

“We are excited to have 20 games broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle this season,” said T-Birds Vice President Colin Campbell. “But we are equally excited to enter into a three-year partnership with KPTK 1090 AM. Both of these stations have a significant broadcast reach and fans all over Puget Sound will be able to tune into our games.”

The first broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle will be Friday, Oct. 7, against the Prince Albert Raiders at 7:35 p.m. at the ShoWare Center.

This is the second consecutive season the T-Birds have had games broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle.

All games will be streamed live over the Internet on 710sports.com.

The four games scheduled for broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle in October are subject to change if 710 ESPN Seattle is broadcasting a Major League Baseball playoff game.
