Stars re-sign veteran forward | MASL

The Tacoma Stars have resigned MASL veteran forward Alex Megson for the 2019-20 season.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed per team and league policies.

Megson, a Tacoma native, returns for his fourth season with Tacoma, appearing in 14 games with the Kent-based Stars last season. For his career, he has 80 points (47 goals, 33 assists) in 74 games. Prior to joining Tacoma for the 2016-17 campaign, Megson saw action with Cedar Rapids, Dallas and Rochester.

His indoor career began with the MISL Chicago Riot, where he was named to the All-Rookie team. In 2013-14, he was a member of the Kansas City Comets who went on to win the MISL Championship in the league’s final year.

The Stars have announced their 2019-2020 season schedule.
