S. Don Swenson

S. Don Swenson Age 83 passed away peacefully June 27, 2011. He was born April 2, 1928 in East Midvale, Utah to Pierce & Mary Swenson. Don worked as a carpenter, and then for many years as a sales manager for Lennox Heating and Air conditioning.  He then used his knowledge to teach and write textbooks at North Seattle Community College before he retired. Don was a member of the LDS Church, he enjoyed fly fishing, camping, gardening and any activity that kept him outdoors. He also loved to paint and do woodworking. Don is survived by; son, James Swenson (Elizabeth)of Snohomish, WA.; daughters, Karen Swenson of Virginia; Mary Jane Sherwood (Daniel)of Auburn, WA.; and Susan Jones (Michael)of Oregon. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Swenson; sisters, Olive & Fern Sharp; Wanda Burkett; Dora Butler; brothers, Vivian Swenson; Irv & Adelbert Swenson. Memorial Services are noon on Tuesday July 5th, LDS Church 94th Ave So Kent.
