Debra Lee Taylor Barnett of Kent, WA passed away at home on August 19, 2011 after a long respiratory illness. She was 52 years old. She moved to Kent from Logan, Utah in 1966 with her family, and attended Kent schools and graduated in 1976 from Kent-Meridian High. Debra is survived by her parents, Marsha Roberts and Lester Taylor of Kent; sisters, Marjorie Purvis and Jennifer Rae Lee and her daughter Megan Rae; one brother, Brett Taylor and his children Walker and Savannah. She married David Barnett of Kent, February 27, 1976. They had 2 children, Michael David (Kelli) and Michelle Kathleen June (Jake Stahl), 6 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. Burial will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent. A memorial service will be held for family members and close friends of the family at the LDS Church at 12817 SE 256th St. Kent, WA at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2011. A small reception will be held immediately following the service at the church.
