Runners from the West Central District converged to American Lake Golf Course, Saturday, Oct. 29, to compete in the Westside Classic cross country meet. All of the school in Kent and Maple Valley participated in the state qualifying race. Top finishers for Kent and Maple Valley were Kent-Meridian’s Alexia Martin, Tahoma’s Elizabeth Oosterhout, Abby Atchison, Delaney Tiernan were all in the top 25. Kent-Meridian earned a spot in the state team competition for the first time this year.
