Kent announces Summer Concert Series lineup

Hot Latin rhythms, Gypsy jazz, extraordinary juggling, soulful reggae and more are part of the city of Kent’s Summer Concert Series this year.

The city of Kent released the lineup last week for the 18 free performances are in July and August at three outdoor locations.

Concerts and performances for kids are held Wednesdays at noon. Adults and families can enjoy their favorite types of music on Tuesdays at noon and Thursday evenings.

In addition to the concerts, outdoor movies return to downtown Kent’s Town Square Plaza with Summer Nights and the Silver Screen.

The Summer Concert Series is presented by Kent Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the Kent Arts Commission.
