Champions crowned in Lucas Oil Division 6 drag showdown

Winners in nine racing classes were crowned Sunday at Pacific Raceways for the NHRA Northwest Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event presented by Torklift Central RV Center.

The event, the fifth of six series stops, heads south to Woodburn Dragstrip for its next Lucas Oil Series event Sept. 7-9.

Next up for Pacific Raceways is the Wicked Wednesday Test and Tune/Street Legal Drags Grudge Races on Wednesday.

Adam Bowdish, Oregon City, Ore., 8.011 at 155.56 mph, defeated Mike DePalma, Glendale, Ariz., 8.967 at 148.62.
