Meeker Middle School teacher wins Outstanding Educator Award

Carol Brewster, Meeker Middle School band teacher won the First Investors Outstanding Educator Award.

Brewster and Jenna Mcghie, the student who nominated her, will be provided a free lunch.

The award was created by First Investors to honor exceptional teachers.

“Carol truly goes above and beyond to advocate for her music students, and we are fortunate to have her as a part of our staff,” said Principal Jeff Pelzel.

The Kent School District partners with the First Investors Corporation to provide the recognition program to all 40 schools in the district.
