K-M fastpitch tumbles to Auburn in SPSL play

Despite Cherry Alejo’s solid outing for Kent-Meridian, it wasn’t enough in the Royals’ 13-2 loss to Auburn in a South Puget Sound League North 4A fastpitch game on Friday.

Alejo struck out seven in five innings of work.Shelby Gardiner went 2-for-2 with a run and RBI, while Sovanny Seng went 2-for-3 with a run for K-M.

The Royals travel to Auburn Riverside on Tuesday.
