Hydro Fever Open House set for Saturday

Hydro buttons are just part of the memorabilia. The Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum hosts its annual Hydro Fever Open House on May 25.

The Hydro Fever Open House runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 25 at the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum, 5917 S. 196th St, Kent.

The public is invited to tour the gallery featuring vintage unlimited hydroplanes.

The open house includes a live auction of hydroplane memorabilia at noon, with proceeds benefiting the museum.

There also will be Casper Model Hydroplane races for the kids. Memorabilia dealers will be selling their wares. A hot lunch, along with cotton candy, popcorn and shaved ice will be available for purchase.
