Caden Borden booted a 25-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, leading Auburn past Kentridge 17-14 in a South Puget Sound League North 4A game Friday night at French Field.

Patrick O’Dell ran 66 yards for a touchdown and Kiero Buchanan added an 8-yard score for the Trojans (2-1 SPSL North 4A, 2-1 overall).

Carter Johnson scored on runs of 35 and 8 yards for the Chargers (0-2, 0-3).

Kentridge travels to Mount Rainier while Auburn hosts Tahoma on Friday.

At Kentwood 50, Mount Rainier 0: Derrick Bell and Brandon Systma each ran for two touchdowns as the Conquerors (3-0 SPSL North 4A, 3-0 overall) thumped the Rams (0-3, 0-3).Brian Campbell, Jonathan Lee and Elijah Funk also scored for Kentwood.Kentwood visits Kent-Meridian at 7 p.m. Friday.
