King County to host budget meeting in Kent Oct. 8

Residents can have a chance to talk about the proposed 2014 King County budget during a public meeting Tuesday, Oct. 8 in Kent.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in Courtroom 3F at the Maleng Regional Justice Center, 401 Fourth Ave. N.

The King County Council Budget Committee will host the meeting, one of four in the county. The others are Oct. 1 in Bellevue, Oct. 16 in North Bend and Oct. 22 in Seattle.

Councilmember Joe McDermott will host the meetings along with fellow council members Kathy Lambert, Jane Hague and Larry Phillips.
