Kevin Thomson tossed five touchdown passes and ran for two more as Auburn Riverside defeated Kent-Meridian 50-27 in a South Puget Sound League North 4A game at Auburn Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

Thomson hit Michael Lucchesi (35 yards), Drew Wallen (34 and 5), Bradley Means (17) and Joey Lucchesi (4) on scoring plays for the Ravens (6-0 league, 6-0 overall).  Thomson ran for touchdowns on runs of 5 and 7 yards.

Quincy Carter ran for TDs from 27, 22 and 14 yards out for the Royals (1-4, 2-4).

Elsewhere:

At Tahoma 41, Kentridge 7: Shane Nelson threw five TD passes as the Bears (3-2, 4-2) routed the Chargers (1-4, 1-5). Malik McFerrin scored on an 82-yard kick return for Kentridge.

Rogers 34, at Kentwood 33: Grayson Madland threw for one TD and ran for another as the Rams (2-3, 3-3) held off the Conquerors (5-0, 5-1) in a nonleague game. Isaiah Williams returned an interception 30 yards for a TD and ran 11 yards for another score for Kentwood.
