Nearly 1,900 compete in Kent’s Christmas Rush Fun Run

Nearly 1,900 people participated in Kent’s 31st annual Christmas Rush Fun Run on Saturday.

Curtis Surer, 27, of Colorado Springs, Colo., won the 10K in 32 minutes, 46.6 seconds. A total of 296 runners competed in the 10K race.

Riley Campbell, 18, of Maple Valley won the 5K in 16:27.1. There were 1,570 participants in the 5K run.
