Romaine Jackson scored 26 points to lead visiting Kent-Meridian to a 65-62 win over Auburn in a nonleague boys basketball game Wednesday night.

Angel Cheema scored 13 points and Nate Barton had 11 for the Royals (2-0).

Malik Williams scored 23 points to pace the Trojans (1-1). Tyler Pray had 17 points and Gavin Strojan finished with 13.

The Royals rallied from a 32-24 halftime deficit.
