Seattle Mist set women’s football tryout for Jan. 11

Women interested in playing football for the Kent-based Seattle Mist can attend a tryout from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11 at the Tacoma Soccer Center, 2610 E. Bay St. in Tacoma.

Registration starts at 5 p.m. The Mist play at the ShoWare Center in Kent as part of the Legends Football League. The group used to be known as the women’s lingerie football league.

Seattle typically plays two home games and two road games each season, which starts in the spring.
