Join the Pampered Pet Walk on Saturday

Dozens of people and their four-legged companions took to the streets of downtown Kent last year for the inaugural Pampered Pet Walk. This year's event is set to kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday

Kent’s annual Pampered Pet Walk comes to downtown on Saturday, April 16, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Visitors and residents are invited to walk their pet in a free event.

Registration is at Down Home Catering, 211 First Ave. S., where the walk begins. It ends at Kherson Park, at the corner of Second and Gowe Street.

There is a contest for best costumes and tricks. Tricks have to be within a 4-by-4-foot area.
