T-Birds to face Kelowna for Western Conference title | WHL playoffs

The Seattle Thunderbirds will play the Kelowna Rockets in the WHL Western Conference final.
The Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 3-2 in overtime Tuesday night in Victoria, British Columbia, to win their Round 2 playoff series 4-3.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven Western Conference playoff finals series is 7:05 p.m. Friday in Kelowna, B.C. Game 2 is also on Kelowna ice.
The T-Birds host Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. at the ShoWare Center.
The T-Birds beat the Everett Silvertips 3-2 last Saturday night at the ShoWare Center to win their second-round, best-of-seven series 4-1.
Seattle is in the conference championship series for the first time since 2003 it lost to Kelowna in five games.
Tickets
Single-game playoff tickets are on sale on sale on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Game 3 will be a Director’s Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday game.
Fans who purchase 10 tickets to Game 4 for $200 will also receive two free tickets. To order, go online or call the T-Birds at 253-239-PUCK (7825).
