Expect travel delays in Kent on West Valley Highway/South 262nd

Drivers should expect short intermittent travel time delays on West Valley Highway on weekdays over the next six months near South 262nd Street.

Starting Monday, May 23, delays are between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. for trucks entering and leaving the roadway at South 262nd Street.

The city is improving a Mill Creek Side Channel to increase rearing and flood refuge habitat for juvenile salmonids.
