A motorcyclist shot and injured the driver of another vehicle during an apparent road rage incident last week in Kent.

The shooting occurred at about 5:46 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the intersection of South 212th Street and 72nd Avenue South, according to police spokesman Jarod Kasner. The motorcyclist fled the scene after firing a shot.  Police have not found the suspect.

“It appears that the vehicle may have cut off the motorcycle or made contact with it as the vehicle made a lane change,” Kasner said.

The cyclist rode a 2013 pearl white Honda VFR Interceptor with hard saddle bags, Kasner said. The shot hit the driver in the lower body, according to police.
