Kent Drug Free Coalition plans town hall meeting Oct. 19

The Kent Drug Free Coalition will host a town hall meeting on Wednesday Oct. 19, 2016, at Mill Creek Middle School, 620 Central Ave. N.

The meeting is for students in grades 6-12 and parents. The doors will open at 6 p.m. with resource tables and pizza. The presentation runs from 6:20-8 p.m.

You will hear from Kent Police officers and Kent Safety and Security about current drug/alcohol trends, and then you will have a chance to take part in action planning for what we can do as parents, students and community to prevent underage substance use.
