Kentlake soars in district diving competition

Kentlake senior Katie Beliveau took second and Cassie Padilla finished fourth at the West Central District diving finals Thursday at the Curtis Aquatic Center at University Place.

Sumner’s McKenna Webster took the 1-meter diving title with 403.80 points, followed by Beliveau (335.70), Enumclaw’s Abbie Carlson (300.50) and Padilla (292.60).

Kentridge’s top finisher was Margo Mead, eighth with 273.50 points.
