Auburn Riverside girls bounce Kentlake for NPSL top seed to bi-district playoffs; Kentridge grabs No. 3 spot

Olivia Denton and McKenzi Williams each scored 17 points and host Auburn Riverside clinched the 4A North Puget Sound League girls basketball title with a 53-35 victory over Kentlake on Saturday.

The Ravens clinched the top seed to the 4A West Central/Southwest bi-district tournament.

Auburn Riverside ran away from Kenlake, outscoring the Falcons 16-2 in the fourth quarter.

Aolani Talamaivao-Calderon led the Falcons with nine points.

Elsewhere

Kentridge 54, Todd Beamer 48: JaQuaya Miller had 12 points and Morgan Gary and Jordyn Jenkins each had 10 as the Chargers defeated the host Titans to secure the NPSL’s third seed to the bi-district tournament.

The Chargers open bi-district tournament play against Hazen at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Bronte Fougere finished with nine points for Kentridge.
