Kent mayoral candidate Swansen plans coffee chat on July 22

Learn about one of the four mayoral candidates during Coffee with Andrew Swansen from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, at Kona Kai Coffee, 124 Fourth Ave. S., in downtown Kent.

Swansen, a political newcomer, will discuss his vision for the city and host an open forum to talk about ideas, issues and concerns of residents.

Swansen is running against Jim Berrios, Dana Ralph and Elizabeth Albertson on the Aug. 1 primary ballot. The two candidates with the most votes advance to the Nov. 7 general election.
