Kent School District to provide free Child Find screenings

The Kent School District offers free Child Find screenings for children 3-5 years old who may have a disability. Children are screened in the areas of speech and language, vision, hearing, learning and motor development.

All screenings are at various Kent schools. At least one parent must accompany the child to the screening, which take approximately 1½ hours and are conducted by certificated staff.

Screening dates are: Sept. 1, 13, 20; Oct. 4; Nov. 29; Dec. 6; Jan. 10, 24; March 14, 28; April 18, 25; and May 9.
